Lifetime Member Skills Camp 2008
We're please to announce the Summer 2008 Session of the Communiskate Members' Skills Camp. Details are provided below The purpose of offering this Camp to you and your family is to recognize the value of being a Member of the Communiskate Facility. We strive to provide quality instruction to your children in both Hockey and Ringette, and do so in a way to add value to being able to access our facility year-round. Our "Stick and Puck/Ring" after school sessions are becoming so popular that often we will find kids from Regina and other areas want to get on the ice for no charge. Presently, the "Stick and Puck/Ring" are only available to Communiskate Members and their families, and we'll soon provide ways to monitor this more closely . We will co-ordinate Hockey and Ringette coaches and players from within our Membership to be on the ice to provide the instruction that will be a great experience for the kids, as well as assist them in developing friendships along the way. We expect that there will be a wide variance of children that would register, which will lead us to determine what times and amount of ice is available that is in fairness to everyone. I understand that we may not have contacted everyone personally to discuss this format of instruction. If you feel that you would want to accompany your child on the ice, and can offer a high level of instruction to the program, please feel free to contact me to be involved. My goal is to come up with at least 10-15 new Lifetime Memberships for the rink on an annual basis. Knowing that this program could be offered again next year to returning families would be reason enough to place a value on the Membership rate.
